The revolutionary Nike Flyknit uppers will give you the feeling of pulling on a sock that stabilises your foot across the Nikes mid-sole. The upper consists only of polyester, which provides unique breath ability, flexibility and support. The Flyknit 3.0 is the shoe in the collection with the most barefoot-like fit. You will get a shoe with an ultra flexible midsole, which is even sturdy enough to be an outsole. The weight of the shoe is hereby substantially reduced. The shoe is built around the familiar and ultra lightweight flywire threads encircling the Middle foot, which can be adjusted through the laces. This means the shoe offers greater support and a more dynamic fit, which automatically follows your foot movements. The Nike Free Concept originates in Standford, where Nike looked into the training methods of the very successful athletes there and found out they trained barefoot. 3 of Nike's most esteemed and creative innovators went to work on this basis and in 2002 they began work on the first Nike Free by mapping the foots biomechanics. 8 years later the first Nike Free went on sale and the result was a shoe that "understood" your feet, how they land, where the pressure is applied. It was an unconventional shoe, but sparked the interest of many around the world. The Nike Flyknit technology is based on the wishes of the worlds very best marathon runners, who wanted an ultra light and barefoot fit. Weight: 162 grams.
