adidas have, with the new Adizero Crazylight, created a football boot that crushes all the limits for weight of a football boot. With just 135 grams, it is taking a big step towards the magical limit of 100 grams, and shaves off no less than 30 grams from the weight of the regular F50 model. So how is this even possible? To start off, adidas have used a brand new synthetic microfibre, which is thinner, yet still strong and supple, so you don't lose the ball feel. To increase this further, it has been given a treatment that makes it more adhesive, so the ball almost sticks to your foot. The Sprintframe 2.0 sole with the Speedtraxion stud configuration is used again – although in a lighter version that has been shaved thinner to become lighter than the configuration found on the regular F50's. The stud configuration has also been slightly altered, in order to take out a few studs, again to make it even lighter. The design is very unique, and judged by the big smile on Gareth Bale's face while wearing them, he is probably not going to be the only one who will enjoy standing out from the crowd with the Crazylight boots. Now you can also be an Adizero Crazylight player, if you order the boots now. And as adidas say: Light makes fast. Are you fast enough? Weight: 135 grams. With FG studs for firm ground surfaces such as grass.
